The Burnaby Multicultural Society is a non-profit, charitable organization operating from offices in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. With a volunteer Board of Directors composed of leading citizens supported by both paid staff and a host of volunteers, the BMS has a long and distinguished history of serving the community. The BMS is among the oldest groups in the Lower Mainland helping to ensure that those who are new to Canada and from other cultures can fully integrate with Canadian life.
The BMS offers service to all without charge. Our programs are focussed on youth groups, working adults or those seeking employment and on seniors. Regardless of your native language or culture there is a BMS staff member or volunteer who understands you and can help.
The BMS offices are centrally located, close to bus, Skytrain and road connections. Our facilities are fully wheelchair accessible for the disabled and free parking is just steps from the front door. Drop by and pay us a visit!
The BMS is supported in its efforts by a number of financial partners who provide the BMS with the funds and services needed to provide our services. The BMS is a funded agency of the United Way of the Lower Mainland and partners with the Burnaby School Board to provide ESL classes.
